Brazilian warm up

Start with team meetingOutline 3 major game plan goals.


1. Warm-up without ball:a) light jogging b) light jogging with different body movements (ie. twisting torso left and right, raising and lowering hands, lifting knees, etc...)

2. Warm-up with ball: passing (based on 4 reaction speeds)a) stationary (quickly to feet to develop reaction speed)b) stationary (somersault then receive, sit-down-stand-up then receive)c) with short sprints forward and backd) with full movement (forward/back and lateral)

3. Warm-up with ball with partner: quick trap and passa) ball on groundb) ball at waistc) trap on chestd) trap on heade) heading continuously back and forth

4. SSG: 6v4 w/ keeperFocus on:a) cycle and possession by midsb) coordination and timing of runs by strikers onto through passes

Then after warm-up:
1. final team meeting (coach doesn't talk):

a) players talk about goals

b) captain has final words to bring team together

c) team prayer (hold hands together and thank God for opportunity to be among good friends and play such a great game)

It is time to play.

Dar Young Africans Vs Simba Sports club

Tommorow (saturday 31/10/2009) is one of the big days in Tanzanian Soccer. Tanzania's soccer giants Yanga (young Africans) and Simba will clash at the National stadium in Dar es Salaam. The match is expected to attract many spectators than usual, we expect revenue collections to be high. Actually we look forward to watching this big event. In the midst of expectation I can not stop myself from wondering what actually will happen tommorow. I wish to very advanced soccer tactics from the big teams, I wish to hear from TFF that they have collected as much as they expected as gate collection, I wish to see fair officiating of the match. I wish to mature and fair behavior from fans, i wish for a lot good things to happen. But I know one thing for sure: It is possible that I wont see any of my wishes coming true.
